What Can You Dump?
The City Tree Dump accepts the following items:
- Organic yard waste (grass, leaves, and tree limbs)
- Wood (no plywood, wood with nails/screws/metal, railroad ties, or landscape timbers)
- Asphalt
- Concrete (may not contain rebar or wire mesh)
Cost
The cost to dump varies depending on the type and amount of material you bring:

| Tandem Dump Truck | $36.00 per trailer load |
| Quad Axle Dump Truck | $72.00 per trailer load |
| Bags of Leaves and Clippings (1st five regular size bags free) | $2.00 each |
| Asphalt and concrete (may not contain rebar or wire mesh) | $25 per cubic yard |
A punch card for ten dumps can be purchased on-site or at City Hall for $75.
Prohibited Items
Please note that the following items are not accepted at the City Tree Dump:
- Rocks
- Metal
- Bricks
- Other non-organic materials

To get to the City Tree Dump, follow these directions:
- From Gunnison, take US-50 east.
- Turn right onto County Road 740.
- The City Tree Dump will be on your left.
