Four Hills Landfill Hours
The Four Hills Landfill is Nashua’s primary waste disposal facility. It is located at 840 W. Hollis Street and is open to the public during the following hours:
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Note: The Scale House closes 15 minutes prior to the Landfill.
Landfill Permits
All users of the Four Hills Landfill must purchase an annual permit at the Scale House. The following types of permits are available:

| Senior Citizen Landfill Permit | No Charge |
Residential Customers: Residents must bring their vehicle registration (as proof of residency) and $5 to the Landfill Scale House, at least 30 minutes before closing, to purchase a permit. The fee is waived for seniors who are aged 65 and over, but they must bring in a valid license and the vehicle registration to obtain a valid permit.
Commercial Customers: All businesses located in Nashua can drop off ONLY their recycling or solid waste that is generated within the City of Nashua. Commercial Haulers may use the facility ONLY for trash generated by Nashua businesses and residents only. A Commercial Permit is required for each vehicle.
What’s Accepted at the Landfill
The Four Hills Landfill accepts a wide range of waste materials, including:
- Household trash
- Recyclables (paper, plastic, glass, metal)
- Yard waste
- Construction and demolition debris
- Hazardous waste (in limited quantities)
Note: Certain materials, such as tires, appliances, and electronics, may require special disposal fees.
Tipping Fees
Tipping fees are charged for all waste materials disposed of at the Four Hills Landfill. The fees vary depending on the type of material and the quantity. For more information on tipping fees, please contact the Landfill Scale House at 603-589-3412.
