Hana Landfill Hours of Operation
The Hana Landfill is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. It is closed on Sundays, Mondays, and holidays.
What Items Are Accepted at the Hana Landfill?
The Hana Landfill accepts the following items:
- Refuse: This includes household trash, yard trimmings, and construction and demolition debris.
- Motor oil: Used motor oil can be recycled at the Hana Landfill.
- Recycling: The Hana Landfill accepts the following recyclable materials:
- Cardboard (flattened)
- Newspaper
- Paper bags
- Glass jars & bottles
- Aluminum & steel food and drink cans
- Plastics – #1 and #2
What Items Are Not Accepted at the Hana Landfill?
The Hana Landfill does not accept the following items:
- Styrofoam
- Food residue
- Plastics other than #1 and #2
- Tubs or buckets

- Un-solidified paint
- Commercial construction and demolition debris
- Appliances
- Air conditioners
- Vehicle batteries
- Tires
- Vehicles
- Propane tanks
