Bayview Solid Waste Dropbox & Recycle Park Hours
The Bayview Solid Waste Dropbox & Recycle Park is open to Island County residents only. The hours of operation are as follows:
- Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Saturday: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Closed: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
What is accepted at the Bayview Solid Waste Dropbox & Recycle Park?
The Bayview Solid Waste Dropbox & Recycle Park accepts the following items:
- Household garbage (by the can or bag)
- Recycling (see the Recycle Whidbey Brochure for a complete list of accepted recyclables)
- Clothing donations (please place in the blue Northwest Center container)
- Household Hazardous Waste (notify the site attendant if you have hazardous waste; large quantities may be referred to the Coupeville Solid Waste Complex)
- Very limited quantities of construction, demolition, metal, and yard waste
Please note: Items greater than 4 feet in length cannot be accepted.
Fees
There is a fee for disposal of household garbage. The current rates are as follows:
- Small can or bag (up to 32 gallons): $5.00
- Large can or bag (33-64 gallons): $10.00
- Extra large can or bag (65 gallons or more): $15.00
Other important information
- The Bayview Solid Waste Dropbox & Recycle Park is for Island County residents only. Out-of-county waste is not accepted.
- Acceptance of waste is dependent upon space available.
