Both CRCs operate on the following regular hours:
- Monday – Sunday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Accepted Items
The CRCs in Brampton accept a wide range of items, including:
- Household Hazardous Waste: Limited quantities of items such as batteries, cleaning products, and pesticides.
- Recyclables: Paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, and glass.
- Reusable Items: Clothing, furniture, and appliances in good condition.
- Other Acceptable Items: Garbage, yard waste, clean fill, and construction materials (fees apply).
Fees and Payments
There is a minimum fee of $6 for loads of chargeable items, such as garbage and yard waste. Anything over the $6 load will be charged at 12.8 cents per kg. Dedicated loads of recycling, metals, electronics, and appliances are accepted for free.
Only debit, VISA, or MasterCard payments are accepted. Cash payments are not accepted.
Proof of Residency
To use the CRCs, you must provide proof that you are a Peel resident or that you own (or work for) a business that operates in Peel. Acceptable documents include:
- Driver’s license
- Water, gas, or electricity bill
- Internet or phone bill
- Municipal tax bill
- Lease agreement (valid up to a year)
Drop-Off Guidelines
To ensure a safe and efficient experience, please adhere to the following drop-off guidelines:
- Ensure that children under 12 stay in the vehicle while unloading waste items.
- Properly secure your loads.
- Dispose of your materials in the appropriate bin.
- Do not stand on walls or guardrails while unloading waste items.
- Be careful when throwing waste into bins.
- CRC employees may choose whether or not to unload items from your vehicle.
- Do not scavenge.

In addition to waste disposal, the Brampton CRCs offer several other services:
- The Salvation Army Donor Welcome Centre: Accepts reusable items for donation.
- Business Hazardous Waste Disposal: With approved application.
- Backyard Composters: Available for purchase at the Fewster, Heart Lake, and Bolton locations only.
