Dubuque Metropolitan Area Solid Waste Agency (DMASWA) is located at 101 Airborne Road, Dubuque, IA 52003. The landfill is open Monday through Saturday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. The landfill is closed on the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Fees
The DMASWA is not tax-supported and is financed by the fees charged for services. The following pricing structure will be effective starting July 01, 2023:

The Dubuque dump accepts a wide variety of materials, including:

How to dispose of materials at the Dubuque dump
To dispose of materials at the Dubuque dump, you will need to:
- Sort your materials. Separate your materials into the following categories: household waste, construction and demolition debris, yard waste, scrap metal, tires, electronics, and appliances.
- Bring your materials to the dump. The dump is located at 101 Airborne Road, Dubuque, IA 52003.
- Unload your materials. You will need to unload your materials yourself.
- Pay the disposal fee. The disposal fee is based on the type of material you are disposing of.
