VBTS Hours of Operation
VBTS is open to the public Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. On Saturdays, the facility is open by appointment only.
Landfill Pass Information
To utilize the VBTS Landfill, you must obtain a free landfill punch card from the Community Services Office located at 46425 Tyler Road. This punch card entitles you to 24 free trips per year.
Landfill Pass Guidelines
- You must present a valid photo ID with a matching address along with your punch card at the time of disposal.
- This free dumping privilege is not extended to contractors or commercial vendors. Commercial vehicles will be refused entry or must pay for waste disposal.
- Each punch on the Landfill Pass is worth up to 4 cubic yards. If your load exceeds 4 cubic yards, additional punches will be applied based on the size of the load.
- Yard waste (compost, leaves, etc.) must be separated from household waste.
- White goods (appliances that contain or once contained Freon) are not accepted at the Landfill.
- Scrap tire disposal is limited to eight (8) tires annually.
- Recycling is available at the citizen drop-off area.
