Waste Management Facility (Landfill)
Address: 1709 – 40 Avenue (on the east side of 40 Avenue, south of 19 Street)
Hours of Operation:
Summer Hours (April 1 – October 31):
- Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Sunday: Closed
Winter Hours (November 1 – March 31):
- Monday – Saturday: 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Sunday: Closed
Holiday Hours:
- The facility is open all statutory holidays except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
RV Sanitary Dump Station
Address: Wastewater Treatment Plant, 7890 – 40 Avenue
Hours of Operation:
- Monday – Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Important Notes:
- The RV Sanitary Dump Station is for the use of City of Red Deer residents only.
- You will need to bring a discharge hose to ensure a proper fit to your RV sani tank.
- There is no potable water on site to assist in flushing or filling tanks.

Secure Your Load
It is important to secure your load when hauling waste to the Waste Management Facility. Loads that are not adequately covered or secured will be subject to a surcharge.
