Davidson County Landfill Hours of Operation
The Davidson County Landfill has two locations:
- Residential Landfill: 220 Davidson County Landfill Road, Lexington, NC 27292
- Commercial Landfill: 1160 Old Hwy 29, Thomasville, NC 27360
The hours of operation for both landfills are as follows:
- Monday-Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Please note that the Commercial Landfill will begin closing at 4:00 p.m. starting July 1, 2023.
Davidson County Landfill Fees
The Davidson County Landfill charges different fees for different types of materials. The following is a list of the most common materials and their associated fees:
- Municipal solid waste (MSW): $36 per ton
- Inert debris: $8 per ton
- Uncontaminated soil: No charge
- E-waste (televisions, computers): $8 per item
- Mattresses: First two mattresses/sets are free, $10 each mattress thereafter or $13 per cubic yard
- Deer carcass (ONLY DEER): No charge
