Camrose County Dump Hours
Camrose County has three transfer stations that accept household garbage only:
- Kingman/ Round Hill/ Hay Lakes
- Location: SW 2-49-20-W4
- Directions: North of Jct HWY 833 and HWY 617, 9 miles east of Hay Lakes on HWY 617
- Hours:
- Saturday: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Monday: 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- Wednesday: 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- Kelsey & Area
- Location: NW 34-44-18-W4
- Directions: South east of Kelsey, on Twp Road 450, just east of Range Road 183
- Hours:
- Saturday: 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Thursday: 5:00- 7:30.
- Meeting Creek & Area
- Location: SE 8-43-19-W4
- Directions: North east of Meeting Creek, west of Hwy 56, just north of Twp Road 431 (Meeting Creek Access Road). Site access is directly from Hwy 56.
- Hours:
- Wednesday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
West Dried Meat Lake Regional Landfill
The West Dried Meat Lake Regional Landfill is located a half mile east of Highway 21 on Highway 609 (SW14-44-21W4). It accepts a wider range of materials, including:
- Household refuse
- Commercial waste
- Concrete
- Inert materials (construction materials)
- Scrap metal
- Mattresses
- Propane bottles
- White goods
- Contaminated soil
- Waste oil
- Tires
Hours of Operation:
- Commercial hours: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Saturday 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- Public hours: Monday to Saturday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Fees vary depending on the type of material and the amount being disposed of. Please refer to the landfill website for a complete list of fees.

Tips for Using the Dump
- Proof of residency is required for Camrose County, Lacombe, Ponoka, or Wetaskiwin residents to use the landfill.
- Commercial loads must be booked 24 hours in advance.
- Charges apply to all loads greater than 250 kg.
- Separate and sort your materials before you arrive at the dump to save time.
- Be prepared to pay the appropriate fees.
