Ephratah Transfer Station Hours

The Ephratah Transfer Station is open to the public during the following hours:

  • Fluorescent light bulbs or tubes can be disposed of at the Department of Solid Waste at no charge.
  • Mercury-containing thermostats can be disposed of at the Department of Solid Waste at no charge.
  • Household Hazardous Waste is collected by the Department of Solid Waste in August of odd-numbered years. Watch for announcements for specific dates and locations.
  • Tires (off the rim) can be disposed of at the Department of Solid Waste for a fee:
    • Up to 16″: $3.00
    • 16.5″ – 21″: $5.00
    • 21.5″ – 24″: $13.00
    • Bulk tires (20 or more) or tires over 24.5″: $350/ton
  • There is no charge for appliances.
