Harmony Dump Hours

The Town of Harmony Recycling & Garbage Center is open to residents only. Please note that this facility is intended for household materials. Demolition or construction materials exceeding 2 yards will be rejected.

Regular Hours:

  • Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Tuesdays: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Clean-up Days:

  • First Saturday in April
  • Last Saturday in September

The Harmony Dump accepts a wide range of household materials, including:

  • Waste tires (NO TIRES ON RIMS):
    • Auto and Pick-up: $4.00 each (Clean-up day only – 4 free per household)
    • Large Truck/Tractor: $20.00 each
  • Fluorescent bulbs: $0.50 each
  • PCB ballast: $1.00 each
  • Mercury bulbs: $5.00 each
  • LED bulbs: $2.50 each
  • Vapor bulbs: $5.00 each
  • Appliances and electronics: $15.00 each (Clean-up day only – 3 free per household)
    • Refrigerators, Freezers, Microwaves, Televisions, Computers, Monitors, Printers, Stoves, Washers, Dryers, etc.
  • Mattresses: $20/each or $30/set (box spring and mattress)
  • Construction demolition: $50/ton

NO PAINT is accepted, even on Clean-up days.

Household Hazardous Waste

The Town of Harmony Recycling & Garbage Center does not accept hazardous waste. Vernon County residents can take hazardous materials to the La Crosse County Hazardous Waste Program throughout the year or to the Vernon County Solid Waste and Recycling Facility annual Clean Sweep event in May or September.
