The Jackson dump is open to residents of the Town of Jackson only. You must purchase an annual placard to use the dump. The placard is not transferable, and only the residents listed on the application will be allowed to use the dump.

Regular Hours:

• Saturdays: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Summer Hours:

• Thursdays: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM (May 4th – September 28th)

Fees:

There are no fees to use the Jackson dump for household waste and recyclables. However, there are fees for certain items, such as:

• Used Oil: $1.00 per gallon
• Antifreeze: $4.00 per gallon
• Appliances containing Freon/coolant: $45.00 per unit
• Auto Tires No Rims: 40 cents per lb.
• Auto Tires on rims: $25.00 per unit
• Large Tractor/Semi tires: 50 cents per lb.
• Upholstered furniture and mattresses:
  • Chairs: $25.00 per unit
  • Sofas: $40.00 per unit
  • Mattresses or box springs:
    • Twin/Full: $25.00 per unit
    • Queen/King: $50.00 per unit

Materials Accepted:

The Jackson dump accepts the following materials:

• Household waste
• Recyclables
• Yard waste (April through October only)
• Building materials (small quantities from personal residence only)

Materials Not Accepted:

The Jackson dump does not accept the following materials:

• Gas cans, drums, propane tanks
• All electronics
• Fluorescent light bulbs
