• Regular Landfill Hours (Starting September 6, 2022):
  • Monday – Friday: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
• Summer Landfill Hours (June 1, 2022 – September 2, 2022):

Transfer Station Hours

The Geary County Transfer Station is located at 1509 N. Perry St. It accepts a wider range of items, including:

The transfer station hours are as follows:

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Fees and Payments

• The minimum fee for contractors is $16.00 per load under one ton or $15.00 per ton for trees and brush.

Transfer Station:

• Up to 500 pounds: $16.00
• Over 500 pounds: $64.00 per ton (effective January 1, 2023)

Cash, check, credit/debit card, or charge account are accepted at both the landfill and transfer station.
