LeRoy Transfer Station Hours

The LeRoy Transfer Station is open to residents on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Please note that the station is closed on Sundays and all major holidays.

LeRoy Transfer Station Fees

Transfer cards are required to use the LeRoy Transfer Station. Cards can be purchased for $30.00 at the following locations:

• Crocker’s Ace Hardware

The Transfer Station does not accept cash. Please see the attendant before unloading with any questions.

Accepted Items at the LeRoy Transfer Station

The LeRoy Transfer Station accepts a wide range of items, including:

Alternative Disposal Options for LeRoy Residents

If you are unable to visit the Transfer Station during its hours of operation, you may contact Area Disposal at 1-800-935-5652 to arrange for pickup of items that do not fit into your approved garbage container.

Additionally, LeRoy residents may contact City Hall during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM) at 962-3031 to schedule curbside pickup by Public Works or to schedule a free drop-off at the Public Works facility.

Important Reminders

• The minimum charge for curbside pickup by Public Works is $25.00 per item.
• Drop-off at the Public Works facility is free of charge.
• The Bulk item dumpster is located in a secure area and may only be accessed by authorized city employees.
• Dumping items on city property is unlawful, and violators will be prosecuted.
• Electronics may not be set out to the curb or otherwise trashed. Please refer to the Electronics Recycling Program for disposal options.
