Trash Pick Up Schedule in Panama City

Panama City offers a structured and reliable trash collection system for its residents. Garbage collection begins at 5 a.m., with specific guidelines to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Residential Trash Collection

All residential locations receive one 96-gallon blue roll-out cart for garbage collection. Residents should:

• Place carts curbside prior to 5 a.m. or the night before collection day
• Ensure cart lids are closed
• Position carts facing the street with handles toward the curb
• Keep carts within two feet of the road
• Avoid placing carts near mailboxes, parked cars, or utility poles

Collection Frequency and Guidelines

• Weekly residential garbage collection
• Maximum trash volume: 4 feet x 6 feet x 6 feet per week
• Small amounts of yard waste can be included in the roll-out cart
• Bag garbage to reduce spillage
• Additional roll-out carts are available for a monthly charge
