Dump Hours in DeKalb County, TN
DeKalb County offers 13 convenience sites for residents to dispose of garbage. Please note that all sites will be closed on Sundays, effective October 30, 2022. The new operating hours for all sites are:

What Can You Dispose of at Convenience Sites?
- Bagged household garbage
- Small amounts of other items
Items Not Accepted at Convenience Sites
- Trash left on the ground or outside the gate
- Large quantities of tires (more than four per individual every six months)
- Full trailer loads of furniture
Special Disposal Information
- Appliances: Deposit at Alexandria, Snow Hill, McMinnville Highway, Blue Springs, Liberty, Midway, Village Market, and Transfer Station scrap metal containers.
- Tree trimmings and limbs: Accepted only at the Transfer Station for residential cleanup projects.
- Furniture: Drop off at the Transfer Station, Snow Hill, Alexandria, and McMinnville Highway (small amounts only).
- Tires: Up to four tires per individual every six months can be disposed of at convenience sites. For larger quantities, take them to the Felts Road Landfill for a fee. Commercial businesses with tire tax numbers may bring tires to the trailer at Snow Hill, McMinnville Highway, or Felts Road Landfill.
Container Rental Service
The DeKalb County Transfer Station rents 30 cubic yard open-top containers for cleanup and construction projects. The cost is $200 for a one-time delivery of a container, which includes one pickup and disposal at $80 per ton of debris. Containers may be kept for up to two weeks only.
