Edgecombe County Landfill Hours

The Edgecombe County Landfill is located at 2861 Colonial Road, Tarboro, NC 27886. The landfill is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Sundays from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The landfill is closed on the following holidays:

There are nine (9) Recycling Centers located throughout Edgecombe County. The recycling centers are open to the public Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Sundays from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The recycling centers are closed on the same holidays as the landfill.

County residents in the unincorporated areas and those in the Town of Leggett who have paid their annual Solid Waste Fee(s) will receive permits. The purpose is to have a more efficient way to determine who is eligible to use the County’s convenience sites.
