If you’re looking to dispose of waste in Jones County, Georgia, there are nine (9) manned convenience centers located throughout the county. These centers offer solid waste disposal, and some also accept cardboard, motor oil, batteries, and yard debris.

Cardboard and motor oil recycling locations:

- Walnut Creek Shooting Preserve
- Overland Way
Batteries are accepted for recycling at all locations except Juliette.
All newspaper that is collected at the recycling center on Industrial Boulevard behind the Government Center is used as a fund raiser for the Keep Jones Beautiful Commission.
Solid waste is transported to nearby landfills.
