Collection Site and Recycling Center

Location: Town Garage Rd, Land O’ Lakes, WI

Hours:

• Winter (October 1st to Memorial Weekend):
  • Tuesday: 8 am – 3 pm
  • Sunday: 9 am – 12 pm
• Summer (Memorial Weekend through September 30th):
  • Tuesday: 8 am – 3 pm
  • Thursday: 12 pm – 4 pm
  • Saturday: 8 am – 4 pm

Fees:

• Household Garbage:
  • 13-gallon bags: $2.00 each
  • 33-gallon bags: $3.00 each
  • Larger bags: $4.00 each
• Other Materials:
  • Monitors: $20.00
  • Towers: $20.00
  • Laptops: $10.00
  • Desk Top Printers: $10.00
  • Fax Machines: $10.00
  • Scanner: $10.00
  • VCR & DVD: $10.00
  • TV’s up to 32″: $25.00 each
  • TV’s 33″ and up: $35.00 each
  • Refrigerators, Freezers: $30.00 each (Doors must be removed)

  • White Goods or Large Metal Object: Free
  • Porcelain toilets: $10.00 each

• Demolition Materials (Private Individuals Only):
  • Shingles, Plaster, Tile, and Sheetrock:
    • ½ pickup load: $60.00
    • Level pickup load: $100.00
  • Wood and Demolition Materials:
    • ½ pickup load: $40.00
    • Level pickup load: $75.00
  • Burn Pit (No stumps, must be 6” or less diameter): Free

Land O’ Lakes Recycling

Location: 20 E DR M L KING JR BLVD, BROOKSVILLE, FL 34601

Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 8 am to 5 pm
• Friday: 8 am to 4 pm
• Saturday: 8 am to 12 noon

Accepted Materials:

• All scrap metals
• All grades of paper
• Aluminum cans
• Glass bottles and jars
• Plastic milk, soda, and detergent bottles
• Scrap metal, tin, and steel cans
• All paper products

Important Notes:

• Only Town of Land O’ Lakes residents and taxpayers are allowed to use the Collection Site and Recycling Center.
• Proper separation and disposal methods of garbage are mandatory.
• No tires or concrete products are allowed at either facility.
• Fees may be paid by cash or check made payable to the Town of Land O’ Lakes.
