Plain City Utah Dump Hours and Information
If you’re a resident of Plain City, Utah, and need to dispose of waste, you’ll need to know the hours of operation for the local landfill. The landfill is located at 2700 N 5100 W and is open to Plain City residents only.
Summer Hours (April – October)
- Saturdays: 8am – 3pm
- Wednesdays: 5pm – 7pm
Winter Hours (November – March)
- Every Saturday: 8am – 3pm (unless it falls on a holiday)
Fees
There are no fees for Plain City residents to use the landfill. However, waste from out of town (without a punch-pass) will not be accepted.
Acceptable and Prohibited Items
The following items are acceptable at the Plain City Landfill:
- Yard waste (grass clippings, leaves, branches, etc.)
- Construction waste (wood, metal, drywall, etc.)
- Metals
The following items are prohibited at the Plain City Landfill:
- Carpeting

- Chemicals/paint
- Household garbage
