Transfer Station Hours

The Wareham Transfer Station is located at 55 Cranberry Highway, West Wareham, MA. It is open to Wareham and Carver residents with a valid transfer station sticker. The hours of operation are as follows:

• Tuesday through Saturday: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Fees

The Wareham Transfer Station operates on a Pay-as-You-Throw (PAYT) system. This means that users must purchase pre-printed trash bags (town trash bags) to dispose of their household trash. The cost of these bags is as follows:

• Small bag (12-15 gallons): $1.25 each
• Large bag (30-33 gallons): $2.00 each

The Wareham Transfer Station accepts the following materials:

Transfer Station Sticker

To access the Wareham Transfer Station, you must have a valid transfer station sticker affixed to the driver’s side front windshield of your vehicle. Stickers are available for purchase online or at the Municipal Maintenance office at 95 Charge Pond Rd. The cost of stickers is as follows:

• Wareham residents (non-curbside collection): $125 for the first vehicle, $60 for each additional vehicle
• Carver residents: $140 for the first vehicle, $60 for each additional vehicle
