Greene Dump Hours of Operation

What Materials Are Accepted at the Greene Dump?

Greene Dump Rules and Regulations
There are a few rules and regulations that you must follow when using the Greene dump. These rules are in place to ensure the safety of everyone who uses the dump and to protect the environment.
- All vehicles entering the dump must stop and see the attendant at the entrance building and must display a valid Transfer Station Permit sticker. Stickers are issued at the Greene Town Office during normal business hours.
- All users of the facility shall comply with the directions of the Facility Attendants as they pertain to disposal and usage of the facility.
- All waste must be bagged, preferably in clear bags. Loose trash is not accepted.
- Bags must not contain any recyclable material as defined herein.
