- The Transfer Station serves an estimated 11,000 residents and several commercial and industrial establishments within Stafford.
- Accepted recyclables include newspapers, magazines, phone books, books, bottles, cans, and plastic containers.
- Effective November 1, 2006, all residents must use Town bags at the Transfer Station. Bags can be purchased at Big Y, Aubuchon Hardware, and other designated locations.
- Any trash not placed in Town bags will be subject to the minimum disposal fee.
