The Bradford Transfer/Recycling Station is located at 346 South Rd, Bradford, NH 03221. The hours of operation are as follows:
- Wednesdays: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Sundays: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
The station is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
What Materials Are Accepted at the Dump?
The Bradford Transfer/Recycling Station accepts a wide variety of materials, including:
- Recyclables: Glass, plastic, metal, paper, and cardboard
- Household trash: Garbage and other non-recyclable waste
- Brush: Tree cuttings, slash, and waste tree wood not larger than 5″ in diameter
- Combustible building waste: Clean wood building construction or demolition waste (excludes shingles, tar paper, cardboard, upholstered furniture, mattresses, sheet rock, rubber, insulation, plastics, or any other non-wood product)
- Organic waste: Leaves, pine needles, shrubbery clippings, and other decomposable waste
Fees for Dumping
There are no fees for Bradford residents to dispose of household trash or recyclables at the transfer station. However, there are fees for disposing of other materials, such as:
- Brush: $10 per cubic yard
- Combustible building waste: $15 per cubic yard
- Organic waste: $5 per cubic yard
Prohibited Items
The following items are not accepted at the Bradford Transfer/Recycling Station:
- Hazardous materials: Paints, solvents, batteries, and other hazardous materials
- Brush or trees larger than 5″ in diameter
- Boulders
- Stumps
- Sewage
- Dead animals
- Explosive materials
- Ashes
- Junk cars
Other Services Offered at the Dump
In addition to accepting waste and recyclables, the Bradford Transfer/Recycling Station also offers the following services:
- Compost sales: The station sells compost made from organic waste collected from Bradford residents.
