Landfill and Recycling Center Locations and Hours

Anne Arundel County operates four waste management facilities:

When visiting any of the waste management facilities, please adhere to the following safety guidelines:

  • Follow the instructions of County personnel at all times.
  • Obey traffic signs and speed limits.
  • Unload vehicles only in designated areas.
  • Remain in your vehicle until it is your turn to unload.
  • Sort materials before arriving to expedite the unloading process.
  • Load similar items together for easy unloading.
  • Avoid bringing large quantities of multiple material types on a single trip.
  • Arrive at least 30 minutes before closing time to avoid delays.
  • Unload all materials within 15 minutes after closing.
  • Scavenging is strictly prohibited.
  • All recyclable materials are the property of Anne Arundel County.
  • All loads are subject to inspection.
  • Children and pets must remain in vehicles at all times.
