Landfill Hours

Athabasca has two landfills: the Athabasca Regional Class II Landfill and the Boyle Regional Class III Landfill.

The hours of operation for the landfills are as follows:

Landfill Summer Hours (April 1 – October 31) Winter Hours (November 1 – March 31)
Athabasca Regional Class II Landfill Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00am to 5:00pm Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00am to 5:00pm
Boyle Regional Class III Landfill Friday and Monday: 10:00am to 5:00pm Friday and Monday: 10:00am to 5:00pm

The following materials are accepted at all transfer sites and landfills:

Athabasca Regional Waste Services offers roll-off bin services for both residential and commercial customers. Bin sizes range from 3 cubic yards to 30 cubic yards.
