Hours of Operation
The Athol Transfer and Recycling Station is open to the public during the following hours:
- Tuesday: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Wednesday: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Thursday – Saturday: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
Fees
An annual sticker is required to utilize the Athol Transfer and Recycling Station. The cost of the sticker is as follows:
- Residential: $65
- Commercial: $130
- Residential 2nd vehicle: $15
- Non-resident: $70
Accepted Items
The Athol Transfer and Recycling Station accepts the following items:
- Trash
- Recyclables
- Yard waste
- Bulky items
- Electronics
- Appliances
- Tires
Prohibited Items
The Athol Transfer and Recycling Station does not accept the following items:
- Hazardous waste
- Medical waste
- Radioactive waste
- Explosives
- Flammable liquids
- Corrosive materials
Additional Information
- Athol’s blue PAYT Bags (pay-as-you-throw) are required for disposal of trash.
- Stickers expire June 30, 2024.
