Disposal Options
Bulky Waste and Demolition Debris
- Bring to Pine Tree Landfill: Residents can bring bulky waste and demolition debris to the Pine Tree Landfill during the hours of operation listed above. A tipping fee will apply.
- Curbside Pickup: Public Works does not offer curbside pickup for bulky waste or demolition debris.
Brush and Storm Debris
- Bring to Public Works: Residents can bring brush and storm debris to the Public Works Department at 530 Maine Avenue, 7 days a week during daylight hours. A windshield sticker is required, which can be obtained at the Public Works office during business hours.
- Curbside Pickup: The city provides curbside brush pickup during the month of May each year. Residents are encouraged to wait for this service if they are unable to bring debris to Public Works.
- Curbside Placement: Public Works crews will also pick up brush and storm debris placed curbside. Residents are asked to place debris curbside as soon as possible but no later than November 9th.
Fees
- Pine Tree Landfill: Tipping fees vary depending on the type and weight of the material. Contact the landfill for more information.
- Public Works: There is no fee for disposing of brush and storm debris at the Public Works Department.

- Proof of Residency: Residents may be required to provide proof of residency when disposing of waste at either the Pine Tree Landfill or the Public Works Department.

- Universal Waste: Universal Wastes are accepted at the onsite consolidation facility at the Pine Tree Landfill and can be dropped off at the scale house for a fee.
