Drop-Off Center Services
The Braintree Drop-Off Center is located at 257 Ivory Street and is open to residents only. Please note that you will need a valid trash sticker or proof of residency to use the facility.
Hours of Operation:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday: 7:15 AM – 2:45 PM
- Closed on Wednesdays, Sundays, holidays, and during severe weather conditions
Acceptable Materials:
- Recycling: Food and beverage cans, plastic bottles, jars, jugs, tubs, glass bottles, jars, mixed paper, magazines, newspapers, flattened cardboard boxes, metal items, rigid plastics, textiles, and books (without hardback covers).
- Trash: Up to three (3) 65-gallon bags per day, securely tied and placed in a plastic bag. Construction and demolition (C&D) materials are not accepted, except for up to three (3) bundles of tied wood, 3-4 feet in length. Mattresses are also not accepted at the Recycling Center and must be disposed of curbside.
Additional Information:
- A one-load permit fee of $30 is required for disposal of excess trash beyond the three-bag allowance.

Curbside Trash Collection
