Convenient Dump Hours
The Brewster Recycling Center is open to residents during the following hours:
- Monday: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
The Recycling Center is closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and all holidays.
Pay-As-You-Throw (PAYT) Program
Brewster operates a PAYT program, which means that residents purchase special PAYT bags to dispose of their solid waste. This system encourages recycling and waste reduction, as residents have an incentive to minimize the amount of trash they generate.
PAYT bags are available in three sizes:
- 33-gallon bag: $2 each
- 15-gallon bag: $1 each
- 8-gallon bag: $0.50 each
PAYT bags can be purchased at various locations in Brewster, including grocery stores and markets.
Accepted Materials
