Burnham Transfer Station Hours and Location
The Burnham Transfer Station is located at North Horseback Road in Burnham, Maine. It is open to the public on the following days and times:
- Tuesday: 12 pm – 4 pm
- Saturday: 8 am – 4 pm
Please note that the Burn Pad at the Transfer Station is closed until further notice. Additionally, the Burnham recycling program has been discontinued due to lack of funding. For more recycling options, view the Unity Area Regional Recycling Program flyer.
Fees for Using the Burnham Transfer Station
There is a fee to use the Burnham Transfer Station. The fees are as follows:
- Residential waste: $6.00 per bag
- Commercial waste: $12.00 per bag
- Construction debris: Not accepted
What to Bring to the Burnham Transfer Station
When you visit the Burnham Transfer Station, please bring the following items:
- Proof of residency (for residential waste)
- Cash or check for payment
