Livonia Dump Hours: Everything You Need to Know
Need to dispose of waste in Livonia?
The City of Livonia’s Refuse Disposal Site is located at 32300 Glendale Avenue and is open to Livonia residents only. The site accepts a variety of household waste items, including:
- Ashes
- Automobile parts
- Carpeting
- Furniture
- Household clutter
- Small amounts of building materials (up to a wheelbarrow full)
- Up to 10 tires, with or without rims, for $5 per tire
- Yard waste (winter months only)
The Refuse Disposal Site is not open 24 hours a day.
Hours of Operation:
- December 17-April 5, 2024: Saturdays Only, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- April 5, 2024 – December 13, 2024: Fridays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Fees:
- Automobiles and station wagons: $3
- Passenger vans (no seats removed): $5
- Pickup trucks, cargo vans or trailers under eight feet: $16
- Trailer exceeding eight feet: $16 plus $3 for each foot over eight feet
What is NOT accepted at the Refuse Disposal Site:
- Animal waste
- Chemicals
- Fungicides
- Gasoline
- Paint
- Pesticides
