The Transfer Station accepts a wide range of materials, including:

• Acceptable with cost:

  • Construction and demolition debris (free of cardboard, metal, and garbage)
  • Land clearing debris (stumps and brush)
  • Bulk items (furniture)
  • Appliances with refrigerant
  • Tires (automobile size, on or off rim)
  • Gas grill propane tanks for recycling
  • “Extra” garbage bags that wouldn’t fit in your tipper cart

• Acceptable with no cost:

  • Appliances and scrap metal materials
  • Electronics (including televisions and fluorescent lamps)
  • Textiles (clean, dry clothing and linens)
  • Mattress / boxspring
  • Single stream recycling (bottles, cans, paper, cardboard, etc.)
  • Paint

• Household garbage and solid waste: Accepted in gray tipper carts for weekly pickup.
