DeForest Yard Waste Collection Site Hours
The DeForest Yard Waste Collection Site is open to residents during the following hours:
- Monday: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- Tuesday: 8:00 am to 10:00 am and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- Wednesday: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- Thursday: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- Saturday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Accepted Materials
The DeForest Yard Waste Collection Site accepts the following materials from village residents:
- Brush, branches, sticks, and twigs
- Grass clippings, sod, dirt, leaves, garden waste (corn stalks, pumpkins, etc.), flowers, pine cones, and pine needles
- Extra cardboard collection (cardboard boxes broken down, flattened)
- Scrap metal
Note: Yard Waste Materials need to be disposed of at the Yard Waste Site, NOT in your automated recycling cart.
No Garbage/Trash is allowed at the compost site.
