The Douglas Disposal Green Waste Recycle Program allows residents to recycle green waste into compost at a reduced tip fee of $53.62 per ton. Acceptable materials include trees, logs, limbs, branches, brush, leaves, clean lumber, and milled wood. Unacceptable materials include milled lumber, treated lumber, painted wood, bags, containers, furniture, irrigation material, pallets, sod, and manure.
