How Much Does It Cost to Dispose of Waste at the Dubois Dump?
The fee to dispose of MSW and C&D at the Dubois dump is $0.04 per pound. Waste hauled in cars or pickups is charged a minimum of $5.00 for up to 200 pounds and an additional $0.04 per pound for all waste in excess of 200 pounds.
Recycling at the Dubois Dump
Recycling is FREE at the Dubois dump. The following items are accepted for recycling:
- PLASTICS (please rinse and sort into proper bins)
- #1 clear bottles (water and pop bottles, vegetable oil, etc.)
- #2 bottles (milk jugs, bleach, laundry detergent, motor oil, antifreeze, etc.)
- PAPER PRODUCTS (please sort into proper bins as follows)
- Mixed Papers: Newspapers, magazines, catalogs, phone books, white, office, colored (NO neon), and fiber board (cereal boxes). These papers may be mixed together.
- Shredded Papers: Bagged shredded clean white office paper only. NO other paper.
- Corrugated Cardboard: Please flatten boxes.
- METALS (please rinse and sort into proper bins as follows)
- Tin cans: labels okay (cat food, pie plates, tin foil, etc.)
- Aluminum beverage cans
- Scrap iron (at scrap iron pile)
- ELECTRONIC WASTE (designated area; no fee)
- GREEN WASTE (must cross the scale; no fee)
- Tree branches, yard waste, grass clippings, leaves
Other Acceptable Items
