Transfer Station Hours and Location
The Enfield Transfer Station is located at 77 Town Farm Road and is open during the following hours:
- Tuesday – Friday: 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The station is closed on Sundays and holidays.
Permits and Fees
Residential permits are required for all Enfield residents who wish to use the Transfer Station. Permits can be purchased at the station itself and cost $10.00 per vehicle.
Commercial businesses with a primary address in Enfield can obtain an annual permit for $120.00 per vehicle. Out-of-town commercial vehicles can purchase a one-day permit for $25.00 per vehicle.

The Enfield Transfer Station accepts a wide range of materials, including:

Fees for disposal vary depending on the type of material and the weight of the load. Here is a breakdown of the fees:
- Bulky waste (non-yard waste) up to 260 pounds: $10.00 flat fee
- Bulky waste (non-yard waste) over 260 pounds: $0.10 per pound
- Yard waste: $0.00 per pound
- Brush and tree debris: $0.07 per pound after the 5th visit
- Metal: $0.00 per pound
- Refrigeration units: $20.00 per unit
