Evesham Dump Hours: What You Need to Know

Are you a resident of Evesham Township, New Jersey, looking to dispose of unwanted items? Look no further than the Evesham Township Public Works Yard! This facility accepts a wide range of materials, including trash, recyclables, and hazardous waste.

Hours of Operation

The Evesham Township Public Works Yard is open to the public during the following hours:

  • Monday – Saturday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Accepted Materials

The Public Works Yard accepts the following materials:

  • Trash and bulk trash items
  • Paper, cardboard, and bottles
  • Cans and cartons from milk, juice, and broth
  • Separated yard waste (grass, brush, and leaves)
  • Electronics (anything with a plug, including laptops, computers, monitors, televisions, cell phones, and tablets)
  • Metal items and appliances
  • Small amounts of concrete, brick, and asphalt
  • Used clothing, curtains, belts, purses, shoes, sneakers, blankets, sheets, pillowcases, and stuffed animals

Fees

There is a nominal fee for the disposal of car tires:

  • One car tire: $3
  • One car tire with rim: $4
  • One truck tire: $10
  • One truck tire with rim: $12

Hazardous Waste

Hazardous household waste items are accepted at the Public Works Yard on the first Saturday of every month. These items include:

  • Paint
  • Paint thinner
  • Fluorescent light bulbs
  • Car batteries
  • Motorcycle batteries
  • SLA (sealed lead-acid) batteries
  • Lithium batteries
  • Rechargeable batteries
  • Toxic chemicals
  • Aerosols
  • Thermostats
  • Antifreeze
  • Oil

Other Important Information

  • It is no longer necessary to recycle regular A, AA, C, and D alkaline batteries.
  • Unused or excess medications are NOT accepted in curbside trash collection, curbside recycling collection, or at the Public Works Yard. Instead, visit the Project Medicine Drop site located in the front lobby of the Evesham Township Police Department.
