If you’re a resident of Fairfield Glade, Tennessee, you may be wondering about the hours of operation for the leaf dump. The leaf dump is located at 8812 Chestnut Hill Rd. and is open to residents and FGCC official business use only.
Hours of Operation
The leaf dump is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
What Materials Are Accepted?
The leaf dump accepts the following materials:
- Leaves
- Sticks
- Branches no greater than 3 inches in diameter
- Bushes
- Plants
- Grass clippings
What Materials Are Not Accepted?
The leaf dump does not accept the following materials:
- Food waste
- Carcasses
- Trash
- Plastic
- Plastic trash bags
Additional Information
- Residents must show a current Fairfield Glade ID card to dispose of materials at the leaf dump.
- Residents are asked to empty any plastic bags used to transport materials to the site and take the bags with them.
- The leaf dump is operated by Cumberland Composting, a locally owned and newly created company approved by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation to divert yard debris and leaves from the landfill to instead process these materials into usable compost.
