The convenience centers in Franklin County, NC, have adjusted their hours of operation. Effective November 7, 2022, the new hours are as follows:

  • Monday through Wednesday and Friday: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Additional Information

  • The Franklin County Transfer Station remains on the same operating schedule of 7:00 AM until 3:30 PM Monday through Friday and 7:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturdays.
  • No industry, business, institution, or other non-residential user shall deposit solid waste or recyclables at any of the convenience centers without express permission from the Solid Waste Director.
  • Non-residential generators of solid waste are required to take such waste directly to the solid waste transfer station or dispose of it through private haulers.
