Geneva Tree Dump and Recycling Center
The City of Geneva offers a Tree Dump and Recycling Center for its residents. The center accepts a wide range of materials, including:
- Trees and tree limbs
- Plastic (#1 and #2)
- Aluminum cans
- Tin cans
- Paper (newspapers, magazines, white office paper)
- Cardboard (flattened, corrugated)
- Construction debris
- Furniture
- Appliances
- Metal items
- Glass food and beverage containers
The Tree Dump and Recycling Center is located at 1214 Road N, Geneva, NE, just west of the Geneva Gun Club’s trapshooting range.
Hours of Operation:
Fall/Winter Hours (November 6, 2023 to March 10, 2024):
- Sunday: Closed
- Monday: 1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Tuesday: Closed
- Wednesday: 1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Thursday: Closed
- Friday: 1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Spring/Summer Hours (March 11, 2024 to November 3, 2024):
- Sunday: Closed
- Monday: 2:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Tuesday: Closed
- Wednesday: 2:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Thursday: Closed
- Friday: 2:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Geneva Grass Dump
In addition to the Tree Dump and Recycling Center, Geneva also offers a Grass Dump for residents to dispose of grasses and plants. The Grass Dump is located at the same address as the Tree Dump and Recycling Center.
Hours of Operation:
The Grass Dump is open daily, 24 hours a day.
Geneva Trash Permits
Town of Geneva residents can purchase trash permits to dispose of trash at the Town’s Recycling and Disposal Station at 32 White Springs Road. Permits are available for $75 and allow the disposal of 2 30-gallon bags of trash per punch, with the card containing 52 punches.
Hours of Operation:
- Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Geneva Recycling Permits
Town of Geneva residents can also purchase recycling permits to recycle at the Town’s Recycling and Disposal Station. Permits are available for $20 per vehicle and are good for the calendar year.
