If you’re a resident of Grandview, Wisconsin, and need to dispose of waste or recyclables, it’s essential to be aware of the dump hours and other relevant information. This article will provide you with all the details you need to know about the Grandview dump, including its location, hours of operation, accepted materials, and fees.
Grandview Dump Location and Hours
The Grandview Recycling Center is located at 53280 County Highway D, about a mile south of town. The dump is open to the public during the following hours:
- Saturdays: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (Year-round)
- Wednesdays: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (April 1st through October 15th)
Accepted Materials and Fees
The Grandview dump accepts a wide range of materials, including:
- Clean recyclables: glass, steel cans, aluminum, plastic, newspaper, and cardboard
- Scrap metal (must be separated from other materials)
- Household trash (in Grand View bags or 33-gallon bags)
There is a $3.00 charge per bag for household trash. Grand View bags can be purchased at the recycling center or the Grand View Store. If you bring your own bag, a 33-gallon bag will be charged the $3.00 fee. Larger bags will be charged an additional fee.
Items Not Accepted
The Grandview dump does not accept the following items:
- Construction or yard waste
- Hazardous materials
- Electronics
- Appliances
- Tires
