Looking for a convenient and eco-friendly way to dispose of your yard waste?

Look no further than the Town of Greece Transfer Station! This facility is dedicated to recycling residential yard waste and providing residents with free mulch and compost.

Hours of Operation:

• Monday – Friday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Location:

• 1 Vince Tofany Blvd, Greece, NY 14612

What to Bring:

• Brush, tree branches
• Grass clippings
• Leaves
• Sod
• Topsoil
• Concrete
• Tree stumps (reasonably free of dirt and rocks)

What NOT to Bring:

• Lumber
• Floor tiles
• Roof shingles
• Fill dirt
• Tree stump grindings
• Wood chips
• Landscaping bricks and rocks
• Electronics
• Garbage
• Household appliances

Additional Information:

• Residents can pick up mulch and compost for FREE at the Transfer Station.
• Delivery of mulch and compost is available for a nominal fee.
• Non-residents, private contractors, and motorized equipment are not permitted.
• Rented dual axle and dump body trucks and trailers, as well as material generated from commercial properties, cannot be brought to the Transfer Station.
• Greece residents who own dual axle or dump body trucks or trailers can use them to drop off yard waste material if they provide a copy of their license and truck/trailer registration to the Greece Department of Public Works.
• Material must be in paper bags or dumped loose in the identified piles.
• Tree Service contractors must obtain a Town permit to perform tree work in the Town of Greece.
