The Bartlett/Jackson Transfer Station in Jackson, NH, is open during the following hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Closed Wednesday and Thursday
Fees
There are no fees for Jackson residents and property owners who have a valid sticker.
For non-residents, the fees are as follows:
- $5.00 per bag of trash
- $10.00 per cubic yard of trash
- $20.00 per ton of trash
What to Know
- All Jackson residents and property owners must have a sticker to dispose of trash at the transfer station. Stickers can be obtained at the Town Clerk-Tax Collector Office or the Selectmen’s Office during normal business hours.
- The transfer station accepts the following items:
- Trash
- Recycling
- Yard waste
- Construction debris
- Tires
- The transfer station does not accept the following items:
- Hazardous waste
- Electronics
- Appliances
- Batteries
- There is a burn pit at the transfer station where non-treated wood without nails can be burned.
- Illegal dumping can and will result in a $250.00 fine.
