Jackson Township Dump Hours and Information

If you’re a resident of Jackson Township, New Jersey, and need to dispose of bulky waste or recyclables, the township’s transfer station is the place to go. The transfer station is located on Don Connor Boulevard, across the street from the Senior Center.

Hours of Operation:

  • Friday through Tuesday: 8 am to 3:45 pm
  • Closed Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Holidays

What You Can Bring to the Transfer Station:

  • Appliances
  • Furniture
  • Bedding
  • Rugs
  • Pool covers
  • Landscaping items
  • Construction/demolition debris (up to 4 feet by 4 feet and generated by the resident or homeowner)
  • Cardboard (must be emptied of packing materials and broken down to 3′ x 3′)
  • Hoverboards (batteries must be removed)

What You Can’t Bring to the Transfer Station:

  • Non-recyclable liquid and/or hazardous materials
  • Black bags (debris must be removed from black bags before disposal)
  • Commercial waste
  • Tree or plant branches larger than two (2”) inches in diameter, and longer than four (4’) feet.
  • Cut trees
  • Logs
  • Stumps
  • Construction materials, no treated wood
  • Dirt, no stones

Rules and Regulations:

  • Residents must provide proof of residency (driver’s license, voter registration card, photo identification card, or current tax bill)
  • No commercial trucks of any kind are allowed
  • Only personal pick-ups and cars
  • Residents are limited to 3 trips per day
  • Two (2) forms of acceptable identification are Driver’s License and Tax Bill only.
  • This site is for Jackson Residents only. You must be present, inside the vehicle when dumping at this site. 
  • This site is not for emptying entire contents of home. Please hire a dumpster company for whole house cleanouts.

Fees:

  • There is no fee to use the transfer station.

Additional Information:

  • The transfer station is for residential use only. Commercial businesses are not permitted to use the facility.
  • The transfer station is not a place to dispose of household hazardous waste. For more information on how to dispose of household hazardous waste, please visit the Jackson Township website.
  • The transfer station is monitored by video surveillance.
