Are you planning a home cleanup or renovation project over the Memorial Day weekend? If so, you’ll need to know the hours of operation for your local dump. In Lane County, there are 15 transfer stations that are open to the public for self-haul recycling and garbage services.

Please note that all transfer stations will be closed on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29th.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind when visiting a transfer station:

  • Cover your load. It is against the law to litter on Oregon roadways. Load your vehicle with garbage first and recycling last, so you can easily drop off recyclables and get the $1.00 recycling discount.
  • Payments accepted. All sites accept cash or in-state check. We accept debit and credit cards at all sites EXCEPT: London, Low Pass, McKenzie Bridge, Sharps Creek, Swisshome and Walton.
  • Discounts. Senior discount per load (60+ years) — $1.00 off. Recycling discount per load (10 pounds min.) — $1.00 off. Customers can be donate $1 discounts to Food for Lane County. Over $2,000 dollars was donated to FFLC last year!
