Landfill Hours
The Laramie Landfill is open to the public during the following hours:
- Monday – Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Sunday: Closed
- Holidays: Closed
Landfill Fees
The Landfill charges fees for waste disposal based on the type and quantity of materials. Here’s a breakdown of the current fees:

Tires
The Landfill also accepts tires for disposal at the following rates:

Recycling Center
In addition to waste disposal, the Laramie Landfill and Recycling Center also operates a recycling center where residents can drop off recyclable materials for free. The following items are accepted:
- Glass
- Metal
- Tires
- Batteries
- Refrigerators
- Single stream recycling (cardboard, paper, plastics #1 & #2 in the shape of a bottle jar or jug, metal cans, etc.)
Additional Information
- The Landfill requires all loads to be covered and/or secured. A $10 per ton fee will be charged to loads that do not meet this requirement.
