Lindsay Garbage Dump Hours
The Lindsay garbage dump, officially known as the Lindsay Ops Landfill, operates on the following schedule:
- Winter Hours (October 16 – April 30):
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Summer Hours (May 1 – October 15):

Fees and Regulations
The Lindsay Ops Landfill accepts a variety of waste materials, including:
- Garbage bags (clear and opaque)
- Loose waste (standard and mixed load)

- Institutional and commercial waste and recycling

Load Inspections
All residents and commercial users of the landfill must separate recyclable items from waste. Loads that contain more than 10% recyclable materials will be subject to additional fees. Recyclable items include:

- Green box recyclables (paper, cardboard, boxboard, etc.)
- Household hazardous waste (oil, paint, cleaners, etc.)

Household Hazardous Waste
Household hazardous waste should never be disposed of in your garbage or recycling. For the safety of our community, wildlife, and the environment, it must be disposed of at household hazardous waste depots. There is no charge for this service (residents only).
