The Londonderry, New Hampshire dump, officially known as the Drop Off Center, operates on the following schedule:

  • Saturday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Acceptable Items at the Londonderry Dump

The Londonderry dump accepts a wide range of items for disposal, including:

  • Yard Waste: Leaves, branches, grass clippings (Limit one 6-wheel dump truck of brush.)
  • Plastics: All rigid plastics with or without a recycling symbol, any size accepted. (NO Styrofoam, NO plastic tarps, NO inflatable toys, NO plastic wrap or bags)
  • Clothing and Textiles: Any reusable item of clothing, draperies, and linens for the Salvation Army.
  • Corrugated Cardboard: Packing boxes and other packaging cardboard, packed flat.
  • Single Stream Recycling: Acceptable paper, plastic bottles & containers, cans, glass (NO plastic bags).
  • Rechargeable Batteries: From power tools, cell-phones, calculators, and laptops – Please give to attendants.
  • Automobile Batteries: Please give to attendants.
  • Fluorescent Bulbs: All tube types and CFL’s (spiral) – Unbroken – Please give to attendants.
  • Cell Phones: Please give to attendants.

Acceptable Items with Fees

The following items are accepted at the Londonderry dump for a fee:

  • Scrap Metal: $5 per load – Aluminum, steel, brass, copper, and virtually any item made from metal will be recycled except those containing Freon (No refrigerators or air conditioners accepted.)
  • Propane Tanks: 20 lb. tank – $4.00, Small 1 lb. tank – No charge.
  • Construction Debris and Bulky Items: $24 per cubic yard, Minimum $7 up to 55-gallon barrel
  • Furniture: Chairs, twin mattresses etc. – $7 each
  • Furniture: Sofa, tables, full mattresses etc. – $14 each
  • Tires: Non-Acceptable Items Small Items – $7 each
  • Tires: Non-Acceptable Items Large Items – $14 each
  • Tires: 4 Free with car registration.
  • Tires: Additional tires – $2 without rim, $3 with rim
  • Electronics: $7 computers, monitors, TV’s ≤ 20″, microwaves (No charge for mice, keyboards and wiring).
  • Electronics: $14 commercial size fax/copier machines, TV’s > 20″

Non-Acceptable Items at the Londonderry Dump

The following items are not accepted at the Londonderry dump:

  • Railroad ties
  • Asbestos
  • Paint cans
  • Gas cans
  • NO liquids of any kind.

Overflow Bags

Overflow bags are available for purchase at the Londonderry dump for $3 each. These bags can be used to dispose of excess trash that does not fit into your vehicle.

Directions to the Londonderry Dump

The Londonderry dump is located at 13 Recovery Way off of West Road. To get there, follow these directions:

  • From the junction of Route 102 and Route 128 Mammoth Road – Follow Route 102 West towards Hudson approximately 3 miles to the next set of lights – Take a right onto West Road – approximately 1 mile take a left onto Recovery Way to the Drop Off Center.

Additional Information

  • Payment for disposal fees is by check or credit card only. No cash is accepted.
  • Residents should bring their own pens for filling out checks.
  • A convenience fee will apply to credit card payments.
  • The Londonderry dump is closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday, Presidents Day (3rd Mon. in Feb), Town Meeting Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
